born from a wish

Born from a wish...to me, it used to be merely the title of a video game.
Now, it makes me think constantly.  At least, tonight it does.
When you think about it, a wish is merely a watered down prayer.
Whenever you blow that eyelash off your finger,
who are you wishing to?

Has there ever been something you wanted so badly
you prayed every night for it but knew it would never happen?
With every prayer, there is a doubt.
You have to overcome that doubt and continue to pray.

I have always felt like love was rather pointless,
